In the vibrant community of Four Courts , ran by Southern Housing, an inspiring story unfolds—a tale that goes beyond the scope of our daily operations at Ecosafe Group. While we pride ourselves on enhancing living and working spaces across the UK, our vision extends further, into the very communities we serve. It’s a vision where sustainability meets generosity, transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary.
One such transformation begins with what many might consider the end of the line: scrap timber. Leftovers from our various projects don’t find their way to the waste pile. Instead, they start on a new journey, thanks to the creativity and heart of a remarkable individual from Kennedy Court. Through their hands, pieces of wood destined for disposal are reborn as toys. These toys are sold to raise money for Demelza Hospice Care for Children, an organisation that provides support for families facing challenging times.
This venture reflects a shared commitment to not just environmental responsibility but to building a sense of community and support. It’s a testament to the idea that, within every piece of leftover timber, lies the potential for joy and the opportunity to contribute to something greater than ourselves.
