Ecosafe Group has been awarded a significant contract by Winchester City Council to deliver a programme of fire safety improvement works under CHIC’s Fire and Building Safety Framework. This direct award reflects the council’s confidence in Ecosafe’s technical expertise and track record in delivering quality safety upgrades across social housing and public buildings.
Winchester City Council sought a contractor to carry out remedial works identified through recent Fire Risk Assessments. The scope of works covers a range of tasks including easing and adjusting fire doors, door maintenance, full door replacements, and firestopping of service penetrations. This crucial works will focus on enhancing fire safety measures across a number of residential properties, ensuring compliance with the latest safety standards and creating safer living environments for residents.
The long-term nature of this agreement will provide consistency in delivery and ongoing assurance that the council’s housing stock meets the highest fire safety standards.
