Open plan has become a remodeller's go to look as it provides wide open spaces, more natural light and greater social balance. This kitchen perfectly balances a very usable kitchen and combines it with an ample living area and dining space which, during the summer, leads to the garden. Bringing outdoors, indoors.
Designed as a shaker style kitchen, this space features inset cupboard fascias with modern steel handle-less. Creating a contrast, this home owner wanted a mix of blue-gray colours with natural wood and steel.
One of our favourite features on this property is the herringbone tile work located on the back of the main cooking area. It compliments the kitchen beautifully and is artwork in its own right.
Featuring an extended counter top, allows this kitchen island to become a social spaces as well as a practical flat surface. Including plugs and a wine fridge, this kitchen island can easily become a social hub.
This home owner chose to go for this appliances on display as they are in to cooking and didn't want to be hindered by anything in there way. The colour palette picked blends the painted surfaces and metal surfaces almost seamlessly.
