A new three-year Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) has been launched to support social housing providers in accelerating the delivery of decarbonisation projects across the UK.
Developed with Contracting Authority Abri, on behalf of the Greener Futures Partnership (GFP), and managed by Pretium Frameworks, the DPS has been designed to complement the two existing GFP decarbonisation frameworks and provide greater flexibility for housing providers as they continue to improve the energy efficiency of their housing stock.
Established in 2021, the Greener Futures Partnership brings together five of the UK’s largest housing associations, Abri, Anchor, Home Group, Hyde Group, and Sanctuary, who collectively manage more than 300,000 homes, representing around nine per cent of the UK’s social housing market. The partnership was created to deliver a coordinated and large-scale approach to decarbonisation, enabling members to share knowledge, drive innovation, and achieve greater value for money by working collaboratively on the development and delivery of retrofit solutions.
Since its launch in 2023, the GFP’s decarbonisation delivery frameworks have helped dozens of providers upgrade their homes with new technologies and energy efficiency improvements. These interventions are helping organisations meet their net-zero targets, whilst making homes warmer and healthier for residents.
The newly launched DPS allows suppliers to join at any time and will help widen the pool of specialist providers available to support the sector. Ecosafe Group has been appointed as a supplier across five lots, Lot 3b (Insulation – Supply and Fit), Lot 4b (Heating Solutions – Supply and Fit), Lot 6b (Ventilation Solutions – Supply and Fit), Lot 8 (Energy Generation Solutions), and Lot 9 (EV Charging Solutions), reflecting its broad decarbonisation delivery capability and established track record working in the social housing sector.
Phil Neale, Technical Manager at Ecosafe Group, commented: “We’re proud to have been appointed to a number of lots on the Greener Futures Partnership DPS. With over 3 decades of experience delivering retrofit and decarbonisation projects nationally, we understand the importance of collaboration, continuous innovation, and practical delivery. Through this DPS, we look forward to supporting housing providers in meeting their net-zero targets, improving the energy performance of their homes, and delivering real benefits for residents across the UK.”
Jessica John, Director of Pretium Frameworks, added: “We’re delighted to get this new Dynamic Purchasing System, a first for Pretium, off the ground. We look forward to continuing to work with the GFP partners and have no doubt that the DPS will be just as successful, if not more, than the existing decarbonisation delivery frameworks.”
The DPS, which runs until 27 October 2028, covers a comprehensive range of works, services and supplies to support decarbonisation delivery. It is split into 32 lots including energy saving products, insulation, heating, ventilation, energy generation, EV charging, whole house solutions, systems, and training.
